Job Description

IFS Ultimo, an IFS company based in the Netherlands with more than 2000 global customers, is a leading Enterprise Asset Management software provider with a strong reputation for the completeness, flexibility, and configurability of its SaaS EAM solutions.

In the world of Ultimo, asset management processes and the software they require take center stage. At IFS Ultimo we develop easy-to-use EAM software for confident asset owners, enabling them to optimize productivity, maximize asset availability, and secure health and safety. We supply out-of-the-box, though supremely flexible software with an unmatched ROI through short implementations, seamless integrations, and self-service application management.

The Ultimo application consists of various services developed in C#. Together, these make up the back end. The front end is written in JavaScript. Here, we use a proprietary web framework. The current generation of the application runs on Azure Kubernetes. We use various cloud-native techniques to offer a stable and scalable platform. Customers on our Azure platform are automatically provided with fixes and new features bi-weekly.

We set high-quality standards for the work delivered and have high coverage with various types of automated testing. We work with .NET 8 (C#), Xamarin/MAUI, Azure, Kubernetes, Azure SQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

We seek dynamic individuals with experience in Quality Assurance, eager to embrace the challenge of exploring in a pioneer team who has a growth mindset and exposure to Automated Testing.

The Senior/Quality Assurance Engineer is a member of a Scrum team and tests changes made by colleagues against the acceptance criteria using both Automated and Manual Testing. This role is mainly involved with Architectural Teams where you will be part of developing the Framework and Tooling of Ultimo Platform.

You will be responsible for:

• • Noticing and contributing to possible improvements in the functionality
  • Drawing up specifications and acceptance criteria to test the change
  • Configuring user interface, reports, etc.
  • Setting up and performing UI, automated, and manual tests
  • Reporting test cases and test data
  • Approving implemented changes before release/merge
  • Maintaining and improving the Ultimo Platform

Qualifications

• •  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in or comparable to Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science
  • Excellent Command of both spoken and written English
  • Familiar with the Agile/Scrum way of working
  • Experience with Software Testing
  • Technical knowledge of XML, SQL, etc.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle
  • Affinity with new technologies and research methods
  • Working with Product Development teams is an added advantage
